Darwin wrap up
In May this year we visited Darwin to meet with students, higher education providers and support services. It was an opportunity to listen and learn. Higher education is delivered and experienced differently around the country. At the NSO we are committed to meeting people where they work and study.
We spent time at Charles Darwin University where we got to meet students on campus at some delicious food focused Our First Assistant Ombudsman, Sarah Bendall, also met with the CDU Vice Chancellor, Professor Scott Bowman.
Study NT introduced us to local stakeholders and Ombudsman NT hosted us in their office (thank you!). We met with student accommodation providers, the NT Anti-Discrimination Commission and Legal Aid NT.
We are grateful to everyone who took the time to meet with us and look forward to heading to the top end again soon.
