Education Advisory Group

We have established an Education Advisory Group (EAG) as part of our role to provide education and training activities that support capability uplift in complaint handling across the higher education sector.

The EAG reflects the NSO’s commitment to sector consultation and collaboration to improve the student experience.

What they will do

Members give informal advice to on education and training activities to support capability uplift in complaint handling across the higher education sector.

Members will not have any involvement in operational matters, such as individual complaints, investigation reports, or NSO frontline services, either collectively or as individuals.

The members may be asked to advise on:

  • the  NSO’s Education Strategy, Education Plan and overall direction
  • sector education priorities and how the NSO can best contribute
  • insights related to better practice complaint handling
  • any other relevant matters.

Membership

The NSO will appoint advisory group members for an initial period of 12 months via an expression of interest.

Members will abide by the Terms of Reference.
